Strengths Tractor has an impressive amount of lifting power. I bought this tractor to support a portable sawmill business. This means loading and unloading logs. As well as moving bunks of lumber around & loading bunks of lumber. When I am in doubt of whether or not the MX5000 will lift this huge Red Oak log or load a sizable bunk of lumber on a flatbed truck. This tractor always shows me new MUSCLE I didn't know about. It doesn't give an inch. With a lifting capacity of nearly 2,500 lbs. It's really quite impressive.
Weaknesses Well I gotta tell you It's not the most comfortable ride when using a brush hog in open field. Let me explain I bought this tractor with the 6 ply industrial tires, which probably ride rougher than the 4 ply Ag tires. Also, I had the rear tires filled with methanol, which weights the rear end down to help as a counterbalance when using the loader. For my use of supporting a sawmill I needed these options. I think an MX5000 with Ag tires & without rear tires filled would ride a great deal better. I can't really say.
Overall I am 100% satisfied with this Tractor. It hasn't let me down. Not even close. If you need muscle around the farm, or if you have a demanding commercial business need like I do look no further than the MX5000. I can't find any other word in the dictionary to describe this tractor better than the word "MUSCLE".
