Overall Used the mower for 16 years. I live on a lake with a very steep incline to the water. Never a problem with power. Finally retired the mower this week. Replaced two wheel bearings and one belt in 16 years. I have replaced the old Kubota with a new Kubota. Absolutely the best mower on the market!

Strengths Bought new in 1996. Runs and cuts great. Build solid. Have changed belts once, front wheel bearings once, and a new set of tires. Best at what it does, cut grass.

Weaknesses None.

Overall Reccommend T series to anyone. Buying a new T2380.

Strengths used this mower for 5 years 7 days a weak mowing Cemeteries, Very reliable and easy to handle in tricky spots. It is now retired from the cemetries but still going doing residential properties

Weaknesses Parts are expensive, and the machine has slowed down alot, don't know what problem is.

Strengths A awesome machine. Now has made its 13th Florida summer, only changed belt one time and will replace the fuel pump today. Has cut my yard, both son's yard, neighbors yard and other friend's yards. It just keeps on running and running. I wish Kubota would make a pick up truck!!! I would be first in line!! This little mower never fails, always cranks and a very strong little engine. It gives a very smooth cut and have never had to readjust the cutting deck. I was raised on a farm with only John Deere tractors and equipment but I must say this little orange Kubota out shines the JD lawn tractors by a country mine. Reccomended to those that want quality!!

Weaknesses In 13 years I have found no weakness in this quality machine, it is the quarter horse of riding mowers.

Overall Outstanding machine and it appears that it will last another 13 years with out worry. Now to worry about me lasting that long is the problem! LOL

Strengths Tough as nails; quality belts, pulleys, deck. Kawasaki 12.5 engine is good as new, always starts.

Weaknesses Tires: tubeless tires are short-lived, and you can't put a tube in because the valve stem hole is in the wrong place. also, the rear wheels won't come off the axle.

Overall A+++ I bought it in August 1995, and have run Hell out of it ever since, including mowing out the road ditches around my place changed the oil no more than once per year. Never bent a blade, never broke anything. Plastic hood faded some but never cracked.

Strengths T1460 Kubota cranks every time. Runs and cuts like a champ. Built well and looks good. Requires minimal maintenence. I've gotten heavier over the years and need additional HP now. It's pulled me up hills and around slopes for 10 years. I wish my father had lived long enough to enjoy it's abilities.

Weaknesses Limited power as I became fat. LOL!! Don't like the squeeks from the hood plastic as it shifts while in motion. I consider that VERY insignificant and a personal peeve.

Overall An awesome machine overall. Certainly not disapointed. Has been a reliable, dependable workhorse. Highly recommend.

Strengths Best Mower I've ever owned, and we've had a lot over the years. Excellent motor, tough deck, cuts great.

Weaknesses Went through a lot of belts, but was mowing rough terrain.

Overall Loved this mower, bought used, no hour meter so no idea what it had on it. Used this mower to mow 3 rough acres every week for 4 years. Changed the oil once in 4 years, wish we had maintained it better, it probably would've lasted forever.Used it to pull as well (large tree branches,pulled down barn doors,dog kennel). I'm rough on mowers, running over stumps,large rocks,tree branches, never phased this mower, motor or deck. Motor finally blew after Southern States replaced the battery, always idled and ran too fast after this. Finally blew. Bought a $12000 Kubota ZD326 -piece of crap. Ran hot the first 15 hours,dealer had to replace radiator and mount new engine kit for driving on uneven ground. Would not recommend the Kubota's ZTR. mowers. The $1200 used T1460 was the best mower I've owned. Currently looking for a used one.

Strengths AWESOME RELIABILITY. I BOUGHT THIS T1460 SEVEN YEARS AGO AND HAVE NOT HAD ONE SINGLE PROBLEM WITH IT AFTER SEVEN YEARS OF REGULAR USE. I HAVEN'T EVEN CHANGED THE BATTERY. I DID PUT SOME NEW BLADES ON AND CHANGE THE OIL.. IT IS JUST INCREDIBLE, WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY.

Weaknesses HEADLIGHTS AREN'T VERY BRIGHT BUT WHO CARES.

Overall AMAZING, IT JUST GOES AND GOES AND CUTS AND CUTS AND DOESNT BREAK....

Strengths Reliable! Reliable! Reliable! An older very wise man turned me onto KUBOTA mowers. He looked me in the eye and said "son,you pay for what you get" "son,go buy a kubota and take care of it and you will never have to buy another" --last but not least-- "son,it will be the best money you ever spent" ALL 3 of these quotes have rang true. I bought my KUBOTA T1560 in 2001 - It has not asked for a thing besides an oil change, gas, and 1 battery in 2004 - thats it! It still looks, cranks, drives, and mows just as good as the day I got it. My whole family pretty much has KUBOTA mowers now.

Weaknesses There is nothing weak about them - they are quality built from top to bottom - front to rear. Worth every dime you have to pay. Kinda like Michelin Tires.
