Strengths very reliable, changed 1 belt & 1 spring in 12yrs I've owned it.

Weaknesses steering has gotten a bit loose. It's still not too bad even after 12 yrs.

Overall Excellent quality. My neighbors laughed when they heard how much I payed for the mower. Now that they are on their 3rd mower since then they don't laugh.

Strengths Great mowing capabilities, but other than that, not much.

Weaknesses Horrible to use, goes through belts like crazy, just bought one yesterday, broke after just using the tractor for 1 minute. I'm buying the right belts, but the tractor keeps eating them, I have to say that so farm this tractor is a piece of crap and would'nt recommend it to anyone.

Overall Really bad tractor!!!

Strengths The Kawasaki engine is strong and does not leak or use a drop of oil. Spin on oil filter is nice and oil stays clean for 75 hours before it even gets a shade darker on the stick. The engine idles smoothe and has plenty of power to get the job done even in foot tall grass. The hydrostate is super smoothe and backing up is a delight with the pedal. I have had zero problems in 250 hours of use and 5 years since I got it off ebay (I added a hour meter to the dash to keep up with hours between service). This tractor has very thick metal in the frame and will last for many years to come.

Weaknesses Not much bad to say here. Never need to buy parts because it don't break. Keep the blades sharp belts tight and your good to go.

Overall At $1200.00 you can not get a better machine. I will never own anything but Kubota to mow with period. I also have a Kubota 3430hstc that I mow my 5 acres with and it to is a wonderful machine to use.

Strengths EVERYTHING,bought mine new in 1995. Best lawn tractor a man can buy.I've never spent one penny for extra repair, it's still running great after ten years of hard work.

Weaknesses Kubota dealers mad about low repair cost....AH...AH...AH

Overall Best mower for the money....hands down!

Strengths Durable gas engine. Smooth, durable drivetrain. The single pedal hydrostatic drive is the best! I've owned this tractor for 10 years (450 engine hours) and have only had to replace the front wheel bearings. Maintenance has been oil changes, air filters, mower blades and grease the front axle. I couldn't ask for a mower that was any more comfortable or durable.

Weaknesses Headlights are not very bright, but then who mow's at night?

Overall I think this mower will still be running when, in a few years, I can finally have my son (who's 8) mow the yard!

Strengths I've had this mower 8+ years and have not had a single mechanical problem. My yard is anything but level and smooth and the tractor handles everything well. The Kawasaki engine is smooth and thanks to the electric fuel pump, handles the hills even with the bags full.

Weaknesses The bagger was too expensive. I needed it and was shocked at the price. My biggest complaint with the bagger is the chute/mower deck connector. The rubber band/metal hook combination is weak and will not allow the chute to sit flush with the mower deck on bumpy terrain. The chute seperates an inch or so from the deck and grass/debris blows out.

Overall I would recommend the Kubota T1460 to anyone. I believe this tractor will be around for my son to use when he has his own home.(He's 10)

Weaknesses No drink holder No fuel guage Difficult to transporting without starting Mower deck wheels require manual adjustments Kubota bagger attachments expensive

Overall Overall I believe this is a quality machine that will out last other machines in the same market. It is a pleasure to operate. I have owned Ford and JD. The Kubota T1460 is my favorite.
