Strengths powerful

Weaknesses Too long turning radius on 1/2 acre lot. Spring seat apparently made for 400 lb person.

Overall Great machine-easy to use. Purchased 4/2002. Used in 3 states. Easy to load in 48" wide PU truck bed using 61/2' to 8' ramps.

Strengths This tractor has been exceptionally efficient and reliable, presenting no oroblems whatsoever. I am in the prairies in Canada and it gets to -20 with regularity, not including wind chill. After the initial 50 hour breakin for the Kawasaki 17 HP OHV Twin, I put it on Mobile1 5W30 full sythetic and it sits in an unheated garage. When it is needed to snow blow the driveway, it starts! Which in these climates is of great concern. The Hydrogear HST drive is much stronger than a typical lawn tractor. In fact they have a smaller model, the 1500, that is rated to pull a small tiller, and this one is the 2000 series. It gets its most work with the dethatcher and two heavy cinder bloacks as added weig

Weaknesses The hood appears to be misaligned but this is just because it was not lined up correctly when the operator platfor, dash, and hood assembly were bolted together. I have had a Kubota technician out to the house and he confirmed this. It needs to be taken in, have the bolts loosened and realigned.

Overall Overall, I am exceptionally pleased with this tractor and it has solidified my respect for Kubota. I will be purchasing a sub-compact to compact size tractor, soon and will be looking very strongly to Kubota
