Strengths Bought my T1870 in 2003 from OVS McMinville Or. Engine has been very good. Cut is even.

Weaknesses Mower deck, pulleys and belts have been a continuous problem. Pulleys do not use sealed bearings and will rust the bearings. They redesigned the Pulley location on the grass blower at a cost of about $400 because the "pulley mfgr went out of business". Plastic cowling below the hood cracked, $244. Deck is hard to remove/remount for replacing belts and blades.

Overall A very expensive lesson learned. Would not recommend. Over priced.

Weaknesses mowing deck is the pits. Factory rep came and checked it and said he didin't know why it didn't cut even, just gave me a new set of blades and left.

Overall Will not buy again...

Overall Great little orange mower.

Strengths Runs very well. Though I'm having a little engine trouble right now that I think is related to fuel flow or the choke. Easy to operate.

Weaknesses Front castors on mower deck are fixed so they score the grass when I cut tight corners. The mower deck and blower are very difficult to change. It isn't for the faint of heart.

Overall Great as a standalone mower. I wouldn't buy it again as a dual purpose tractor. Changing the implements takes to long.
