Strengths my 1st tractor with loader. Best thing I ever purchased. Carry 2 1000 lb bales at same time.

Weaknesses No arm rest and 3 point arms need to extend for easier hook ups.

Overall Traded in 40 hp John Deere and never looked back. Tractor has done everything I have needed.

Strengths Very versatile. Pulls the 5 foot rotary and box blade with ease. Seems to get great fuel mileage/usage

Overall Great little tractor

Strengths Amazing little tractor for its size. Many features. Very good fit and finish. I bought it with the thought of keeping my older 40+ hp IH also, but may sell it now, as the 2740 does everything I need to do. Excellent dealer support here too. Only 12 hours on the meter so far, but have no fears as far as dependability down the road. I love it and would buy another one if I could justify it. Just a simple, hard working great little machine for the bucks!

Weaknesses Non-foldable ROPS.

Strengths Ergonomic controls, plenty of power, good range of gearing, loader is suprisingly strong, "Special Financing" low interest rate under 6%

Weaknesses ROPS does not fold, engine does not seem to have much torque at lower RPM's but excellent torque at 1600 RPM and up. Lack of arm rests on the seat.

Overall VERY good tractor for the money. Dealer financing had much better terms than John Deere or New Holland offered me. I now have 17hrs on the machine and have no regrets other than the fact that I could not afford the backhoe attachment.
