Strengths Very comfortable and heavy feel to tractor.
Great visibility of loader and ground, lights are not blocked by loader like many tractors I've used.
Shuttle shift is perfect for loader work.
Speed 1,2,3,4 selection is easy to work.
Throtle is in good location on steering column and also has foot throtle. Column throtle works similar to cruise control.
Mitsubishi engine is smooth and surprisingly quiet.
3pt width (check chain system)is easy to adjust
Differential lock is easy to engage
Engine compartment is easily accessible and all fluid check points are also easy to reach/fill. Battery and filters are easy to reach and change out.
Undercarriage is well designed and protected compared
Weaknesses 3pt controls are close to right side of seat-would be better if not so close.
High,Med,Low gear selector is close to left fender-I bent handle over a bit and is fine now.
Rear of tractor is high so some 3pt attachments are hard to see completely.
Manuals poorly translated into English.
Overall I have a 2001 Kubota L35TLB and the LG Montana is every bit the machine my Kubota is and costs a lot less for the tractor w/ FEL.
I read up on many tractors (Branson,JD,NH and Kubota) feature for feature and pound for pound the Montana was the best value I found in the 35-39 HP CUT. A lot of the posts I read on various boards talked about unproven and new and other nonsense- don't let that discourage you from checking out the LG Montana---Mitsubishi engines are well proven. many of the components of the tractor are from well established and well proven companies too.
3 yr warranty and 3 yr 0% is added bonus.
