Strengths Purchased a 2007 gc2300. Got it fully loaded. Front end loader (woods), curtis cab with heater and overhead console. The console is wired to control everything and has MP3 stereo in it (sweet). Rear blower with full hydraulics. Blower has 4 blade impeller (a must). Using machine to blow snow and some landscaping. Unbelivable snow removal. I live in northern New Brunswick and last year we had record snow falls. No problem going for distance and keeping up. Compact size will fit into any garage, even with cab. I was expecting the loader hydraulics to be jerky as its a low price machine. I have operated a few pay loaders, Cat-dresser-John Deere-Volvo, and find the controls to be very Cat like. Most impressive.
Weaknesses Front end loader is a bit weak. I have been using it remove back fill from around my house. It gets the job done but struggles with breakout strength. Compact size also means low ground clearance. It is what it is.
Overall Extremely stisfied, I researched them all. Dealer where I purchased also sells Kubota. He highly recommended the Massey Ferguson gc2300 over the 2230 (in this particular model range). He offered the kubota for the same price if I wanted but had great confidence in the Massey Ferguson. He was right. I put a hundred hours on it last winter and only took delivery in december.
