Implements : None...yet.
Purchased From : Northwood P&E
Strengths Compact size makes it very manuverable in very tight spaces. Good torque allows tractor to use most of its 22.5 HP. I have been able to drag 16 to 20 foot lengths of 16+" diameter pines across several acres as I clear woods. Power to all four wheels in 4WD seems well distributed. Rear axle lock feature has gotten me out of trouble several times. 50-hour maintenance is easy to do yourself (and my assumption is the other cycels will be as well).
Weaknesses Just as many others have claimed, seat mechanism is poorly designed, and quite flimsy. You do get used to its quirks eventually, but it diminishes the sweetness of the rest of the tractor. I have found at 2000+ RPM, the front/rear hydraulics are very touchy and make the tractor bounce. When operating parallel with slope, and carrying load in front, tractor "feels" like it could tip over. With backhoe on an operating up steep grade, tractor is quite bouncy.
Overall I have 60 hours on it now and even with my list of weaknesses I love this thing. It is easy to learn to use, the controls are logically placed. It is light and quick, powerful and manuverable. It has done everything I have attempted. I looked at the competition first and during my review of this tractor and this is the one I chose. I thought I madde a great choice then and i still do!

Implements : 5ft grader blade,4ft pallet forks, rease hitch on bucket, and 7ft.fisher plow
Purchased From : northwoods power
Strengths knowledge is power. the more i use this machine the more this machine can do. this is a great tractor, and yes it will push the 7ft plow.
Weaknesses it's only weakness is the nut behind the wheel, and the seat.I fixed mine by removing the 4 bolts that hold the back on,then cutting the back two holes off with a sawzall just above the holes, then reinstall the back two bolts, and replace the two front bolts with bolts that are not threaded all the way, this will let the back of the seat to flip so you can sit on the back of it.
Overall great machine, far better and more affordable then the competition

Strengths Great tractor. I enjoy using it around the yard.
I purchased an after market 51 inch snow blower that mounts on the rear of the GC2310, in place of the backhoe. While you do need to drive it in reverse (not a big deal) while blowing the snow, it’s less expensive than adding a blower to the front. You also have the use of the front end loader, which is useful in moving the snow, and clearing that last bit of snow from the driveway.
Weaknesses I would have liked to have two seats, one facing forward and one for the backhoe. As dumb as seems, while using the backhoe, I have jumped into the driver seat several times to move the tractor and of course sat down on the metal track.
Who the heck designed that small brake leaver? I find it difficult to set. I also find myself driving around the yard and not noticing that I left the brake on. A simpler mechanism for setting the brake and a brake ON LED would have been appreciated.
I ordered the tractor with turf tires. The dealer must have had to swap tires prior to delivery. After ten hours, the left rear tire fell off. While the dealer came right out with a new tire, we noted that two of the other tires were mounted backwards.
I had to have the roll bar shortened by about an inch in order to drive it into a standard garage door.
I was surprised that its first service was required after only 50 hours of use. I found that it needed to be services, as the steering tightened up at times and the backhoe got stuck when moved all the way to the left. This was corrected with the 50 hour service.
Overall Overall I do like the tractor and I am happy that I purchased it. I did look at some other sub tractors and decided that the GC2310 was the best tractor for the money.
I would like to see a soft cab for this tractor.

Implements : 48" Dozer blade with Quick Change system
Purchased From : Abele Equipment, Albany NY
Strengths This tractor loader backhoe is great!!! I spent many weeks loking at Kubota BX24, New Holland TZ24, Cub Cadet, and John Deere. It came down to the Deere 2310 or the GC2310. I like the Deere because the implements came on and off easily. But when I got the Massey home, I was able to take off the loader in about 3 minutes on the 1st try. The backhoe is fairly simple, I have yet to try it, but will report back later when I do. Backhoe is very strong, moves the tractor and ME around with ease.
Weaknesses Not a big fan of Hydro Static Trasmissions, but they all have them now. Emergency brake lever could be in a better spot or a little longer. I'm thinking up a way to extend the little nub they give you, so it can be reached easier. I read the other reviews about the seat, it is tricky at first, but I played with it and learned a trick, now it works real easy.
Overall This tractor does everything it says it will and more. Dozer blade was more than 1/2 price of snowblower, has more uses and less problems with hookup. I will soon be getting a York rake. I am looking for soft sided cab. Anyone has any info, would be greatly appreciated.

Strengths Great for digging and moving earth. Moves some pretty big rocks for a little tractor. Bought a thumb but can do just as much rock moving without it.
Weaknesses Seat is hard to move to use the BH. Light up front. Get weights.
Overall Great tractor. 35 hours as of this posting and no problems. Also called MF direct before I purchased and got a call back from the product manager and he answered all my questions. Rented a Kubota the year before B21 and although larger I find the GC2310 didn't dissapoint.

Price Paid : $16,000.00
Years of Use : 1-2 Years Use
Implements : Loader, Backhoe, Brush hog, York Rake, 3 pt wood splitter
Purchased From : Dealer
Strengths Ease of Use, Low Maintenance (Very Low)!, rugged, More for the money than other brands I looked at. Paid 16k with loader and backhoe included.
Its not GREEN!
Weaknesses Did not come with parts manual. OK, I'm cheap, I don't want ot buy one. Not that I need it but I overtightened the haydaulic suction filter bolt and snapped it off.
Other weaknesses? Well, I wish it had just a bit more lifting power with the implements but hey, this is a subcompact, not a major unit. I have found very little that I dislike about my baby!
Oh, I don't like the placement of the lights on the roll bar, I keep smashing them into trees so I'm about to remove them completely.
Overall This unit has performed just about every task I've asked. I've got about 150 hrs on it, I've spread about 60 tons of topsoil around a pool I had put in, raked it out and spread the seen. Dug a 150 foot trench with the backhoe for my pool drain, brush hogged about 60 acres a couple of times, and use it occasionaly to move larg snow piles after they build up too high. I occasionally try to lift a bucketload of dirt or rock that is just too much for the bucket and the thing will bog down a bit but I ussually just drop a bit and I'm OK.
I recently lifted a 1200+ pound generator of my trailer with the backhoe and just about maxed the backhoe out but it lifted the unit in the end. Overall, I'd sell my wife before I sold my tractor. I love this thing! OK, don't tell my wife that!
I would highly recommend this unit. Just make sure your dealer is established and is planning on staying in business. The guy I baought from had been in business for 40+ years. Went belly up about a year after I bought my tractor. Good thing I'm in farm country. There are 2 other dealers within about 40 miles so I am OK for service. Not that I get a lot because all normal service is easily done by me.

Implements : Loader, 60" mower, Backhoe
Purchased From : Wimble and Sons, Georgia Vermont
Strengths The backhoe has incredible power for digging ditches, ripping out stumps and handling boulders. The seat's flexibility allows for duel use during backhoe work. The Loader has good load pickup and is easy to remove for mowing. The 60" mower goes through any thing without loading down the motor.
Weaknesses The down speed on the front loader could be faster. The attachment of the mower under the tractor can be a struggle but that can be said of all under belly mowers.
Overall This has been a great tractor, It has been used to dig a 4 foot foundation wall, ripping out locust stumps, large rocks, pushing and grading dirt and othe miscellaneous landscaping task. I have 220 hrs on the unit to date without 1 breakdown.
