Strengths none

Weaknesses I have an L185 new in 2008 breaks down all the time . engine blew up with 114 hrs hydraulics went out at 133 hrs elecrtic control panel went out at 160 hrs and it would start under 45 degrees

Overall Biggest pile of shit I ever bought. i have owned it for 15 months and it has been at the dealers repair shop 8 of those months

Strengths Lots of power and the best balanced machine I ever owned. Has no problems carring a 2000lb round bale with the boom all the way up. Works great with backhoe and trencher. The 2 speed is great goes upto 13 mph

Weaknesses Tires are junk the ones that come from the company are the worst I've ever seen got less than 200 hrs out of them. Changing oil needs to be improved to make it easier. I don't care to crawl on my belly and had to buy a special metric sized wrench to remove oil plug.

Overall It always starts and runs and never lets me down excellent machine

Strengths Hydraulic noise virtually eliminated. New instrument panel. Control levers easier and smoother to operate. 2-speed doesn't throw your head back when engaged. Seat is better quaility, more "butt" venting.

Weaknesses The engine is still pretty loud. 2-speed doesn't disengage soon enough. 2-speed takes about 10-15 feet to engage--might be a benefit. I don't see the new instrument touch panel switch for the parking brake release lasting long. I'm used to my LS180 which has touchy/responsive controls---this new hydraulic system feels a bit vaguw or mushy compared to the old system--By that I mean if you move the control lever there is a split second reaction lag similar to Cat electric joystick controls.

Overall Liked enough to place an order with full cab enclosure heater and new hydraulic quick attach system---I ain't gettin' any younger.
