Strengths reliable, tough, easy to use. Good in tight places. Starts easy in cold weather. FWA works great.

Weaknesses You have to preheat glowplugs requardless of the temp. Only issue was the fuel gage quit and a bearing in the front end that busted. Parts were a little pricey, but after pricing other comparable brands, New Holland was one of the cheaper ones on parts.

Overall Great little tractor. We use it for all small jobs around the farm. Everything from loading 4x4 round bales, cleaning out the livestock barn, to mowing the grass. I would definatly buy another and recommend it to anyone looking for a compact tractor.

Strengths reliable never let me down untill engine and bell housing had broken.

Weaknesses I was digging a little tetra pond . the engine block and the bell housing flexed or something. the block had broken behind the oil pan.also where the mount for the backhoe is that is where the bell housing had broken.I took the tractor back to miners. they told me there was nothing they could do for me that new holland has had no problems with the tc30 breaking apart. i'm still waiting to see if new holland is going to fix my tc30. tractor only had 843 hr.

Overall overall it's a great tractor. my family loves it. it's never let us down until now.

Strengths nice tracktor runs great starts every time even in cold weather

Weaknesses with loader the loader hangs on the very thin bell housing which breaks and is very expensive to re place $5000 and no help from new holland another ford product

Overall not too bad could have better factory help for thier problems

Strengths I use this little tractor to make money ...SSo far it has paid for itself twice over. I build rhorse paddocks and rideing rings with it. Soon I will do more when I buy a backhoe. Strengths= Quality, reliable, does everything I wnat it to do

Overall This is an update to my earlier review. We have owned our TC30 for over six years now and it is the most useful and reliable piece of equipment we have ever bought. We replaced some of the hydraulic and oil cooler hoses with thicker walled hoses but that is the only repairs we have had to make. We have done all maintenance and service ourselves and have never had to take it to the shop for repair. During this time we have drilled over 200 post holes, mowed countless acres, plowed a nice garden, made a pond deeper and towed our Ford 4000 back to the shed through thick, muddy clay. I am completely impressed with this tractor.

Strengths 2005 w/ 148 hours.Its new to me and so far I love it

Weaknesses I have a squeak when shifting from forward to reverse even without the weight of an attachment on 3 point. any thoughts? Also the manual states the loader is rated at 850lbs. I am wondering if changing to a larger cylinders and reinforce the arms would make a difference i would like to lift 1,000 to 1500lbs

Strengths Lots of pulling power and traction

Weaknesses Will not start in cold weather. Turning the key to warm the cylinders and then turning key to start in below freezing weather has many times caused the tractor not to start. I was told the solenoid on the starter might be frozen inside. It will always start in non freezing weather. It is a 2002 hydro. 4x4 with bucket and blower. It has become very frustrating especially with all the snow that falls in northern Maine

Overall Good tractor and priced accordingly. I sure wished this non starting problem would not exist.

Strengths Price vs competion. 4WD pulls through mud & deep snow with no problems. Gets into tight places pretty easy.

Weaknesses Rubber hydraulic hoses (short pieces between components - i.e. oil cooler) have all failed. Probably could have used better quality hose.

Overall I like it and would buy it again.

Weaknesses The price of parts are a lot more than the price of parts for other brand name tractors. New Holland does not stand behind their product.

Overall I will never purchase New Holland again. I had problems from day one and New Holland would not stand behind their product and would not even try to work with me. To add insult to injury they called me a liar - in not so many words. Take extreme caution in purchasing a new holland. I think you would be better with another brand. I know I would have been!!!
