Strengths
Power, ease of operation, reliability, usability.
Weaknesses None.
Overall This is an update to my earlier review. We have owned our TC30 for over six years now and it is the most useful and reliable piece of equipment we have ever bought. We replaced some of the hydraulic and oil cooler hoses with thicker walled hoses but that is the only repairs we have had to make. We have done all maintenance and service ourselves and have never had to take it to the shop for repair. During this time we have drilled over 200 post holes, mowed countless acres, plowed a nice garden, made a pond deeper and towed our Ford 4000 back to the shed through thick, muddy clay. I am completely impressed with this tractor.

Implements : 5ft bush hog,6ft. box blade, 5 ft. rake, front loader

Strengths 2005 w/ 148 hours. Its new to me and so far I love it
Weaknesses I have a squeak when shifting from forward to reverse
even without the weight of an attachment on 3 point.
any thoughts?
Also the manual states the loader is rated at 850lbs. I am wondering if changing to a larger cylinders and reinforce the arms would make a difference i would like to lift 1,000 to 1500lbs
Overall I think I made a good buy

Price Paid : $22,000.00
Years of Use : 3+ Years
Implements : Splitter, Loader, Loader, Back hoe
Purchased From : Dynaco
Strengths Lots of pulling power and traction
Weaknesses Will not start in cold weather. Turning the key to warm the cylinders and then turning key to start in below freezing weather has many times caused the tractor not to start. I was told the solenoid on the starter might be frozen inside. It will always start in non freezing weather. It is a 2002 hydro. 4x4 with bucket and blower. It has become very frustrating especially with all the snow that falls in northern Maine
Overall Good tractor and priced accordingly. I sure wished this non starting problem would not exist.

Implements : Front End Loader, 5' Brush Hog, Post Hole Digger, Back Blade, & Landscape Rake
Purchased From : Dealer
Strengths Price vs competion. 4WD pulls through mud & deep snow with no problems. Gets into tight places pretty easy.
Weaknesses Rubber hydraulic hoses (short pieces between components - i.e. oil cooler) have all failed. Probably could have used better quality hose.
Overall I like it and would buy it again.

Weaknesses The price of parts are a lot more than the price of parts for other brand name tractors. New Holland does not stand behind their product.
Overall I will never purchase New Holland again. I had problems from day one and New Holland would not stand behind their product and would not even try to work with me. To add insult to injury they called me a liar - in not so many words. Take extreme caution in purchasing a new holland. I think you would be better with another brand. I know I would have been!!!

Implements : bucket, forks, box blade, sub-soiler, brush-hog, landscape rake, post-hole digger
Purchased From : Brim Tractor
Strengths Runs great, reliable, takes a ton of abuse and keeps on chugging
Weaknesses None found to date
Overall We bought this for our farm in 2005 and have over 500 hours on it now. It has never failed to start quickly, run well, or perform any job asked of it. We use it for manure collection, digging, a lot of use of clamp-down forks for lifting small pallet loads (up to 500#), post-hole digging, fence-stretching, brush mowing, and road blading.

Strengths Great little tractor when it works.
Weaknesses I too had the engine/trans bolt pull out, 26 months 885 hrs. Tractor in shop for 2 months. New Holland has not accepted responsibility. Dealer went out on a limb, ordered & installed new engine & bell housing, over $10,000. Willing to fight over who pays for repairs.

Price Paid : $15,000.00
Years of Use : New Owner (0-1 Year)
Implements : 7308 loader, 6' road blade, 4' roto tiller
Purchased From : Nash equipment
Strengths This is an update to a previous post. I am sitll very happy with my TC30. I have put 53 hours on it now. The 7308 Loader works very well for me, as I us it for pushing brush and moving dirt also one thing I use it for more than I thought is lifting Stuff with a chain.
Weaknesses I was somewhat concerned after reading some post about the block craking on the right hand side at the mounting bolts. Altough I dont't know how much merit I should give a couple of post on the web. I did take a look at mine to check. The bolts were not loose but not tight either. I snuged them up plus the other engine mounting bolts.
Overall I have noticed that the three TC30's above that had the craking problem also had Backhoe attachments. While this is no excuse for the breakage. A backhoe will put a considerable amount more stress on the tractor than other attachments. Since I have no plans to ever install a backhoe I am not to worried. However I do plan on removing each bolt one at a time, applying loctite and retighening to factory specs.

Implements : 7803 loader. New Holand 68, 5 foot Land Pride finish mower, log splitter
Purchased From : private owner
Strengths Tractor is powerful for its weight. Runs my New Holland 68 with a 16 foot hay wagon fine.
Weaknesses Does need better digging depth with loader, and faster hydrualics out rear remotes for splitter.
Overall Excellent tractor for the money. Mine has 452 hours on it with just scheduled maintenance.
