Implements : 7308 loader, 6' road blade, 4' roto tiller
Purchased From : Nash equipment
Strengths This is an update to a previous post. I am sitll very happy with my TC30. I have put 53 hours on it now. The 7308 Loader works very well for me, as I us it for pushing brush and moving dirt also one thing I use it for more than I thought is lifting Stuff with a chain.
Weaknesses I was somewhat concerned after reading some post about the block craking on the right hand side at the mounting bolts. Altough I dont't know how much merit I should give a couple of post on the web. I did take a look at mine to check. The bolts were not loose but not tight either. I snuged them up plus the other engine mounting bolts.
Overall I have noticed that the three TC30's above that had the craking problem also had Backhoe attachments. While this is no excuse for the breakage. A backhoe will put a considerable amount more stress on the tractor than other attachments. Since I have no plans to ever install a backhoe I am not to worried. However I do plan on removing each bolt one at a time, applying loctite and retighening to factory specs.

Implements : 7803 loader. New Holand 68, 5 foot Land Pride finish mower, log splitter
Purchased From : private owner
Strengths Tractor is powerful for its weight. Runs my New Holland 68 with a 16 foot hay wagon fine.
Weaknesses Does need better digging depth with loader, and faster hydrualics out rear remotes for splitter.
Overall Excellent tractor for the money. Mine has 452 hours on it with just scheduled maintenance.

Implements : 7308AL Loader/Mid Mount Mower
Purchased From : Dealer
Strengths I actually purchased a T1520 which has the same style as the TC30, but has 35 hp. I own a small nursery, so this tractor works perfectly for me. I use the loader to haul mulch around and to carry flower trays, and I use the mid-mount mower to mow down unwanted weeds and grass around the greenhouses. I love my T1520.
Weaknesses Don't have a weakness yet.
Overall If your looking for a 35hp unit for the right price, the New Holland TC30 or T1520 is for you. The New Holland Dealership treated me very well, they have a great service department so I trust them if I need any help in that department.

Implements : Woods RD60 mower, returned 7308 FEL,
Purchased From : Krystowski Tractor
Strengths Smooth running, nice to operate, hydrostatic transmission very smooth, can smoothly go from barely moving to full speed in any range. 4WD a lot more traction than the 2WD 1300. Starts easily with next to zero smoke, even when loaded down.
Weaknesses 7308 Loader had zero digging depth (defined a bucket bottom parallel to flat surface tractor setting on, distance bucket bottom can get below the surface. Checked numerous other new 7308, same problem. Can't lift front wheels off ground with bucket flat on ground. New Holland took back 7308, and got my money back. Have Koyker 155 Loader with Mast Equipment custom bigger 60" bucket on order.
The 7308 quick attach feature uses front bumper as stand, works well, but if storing tractor in FEL, and front/rear distance distance is close, you will have to mount loader to get short distance, other wise approximately 2 feet longer. Koyker should store with arms near vertical for short distance when not mounted. See the Koyker 155 manual on their site for details.
Woods mower paint is junk, falling off with masking tape, and dried grass stuff.
Hydrostatic cruise control is a little stiff, would prefer electric with a finger tip switch conviently located.
Overall Have had Ford 1300, 770 FEL, 930 mower for 27 years, next to no problems, hope this is our last. All the safeties - seat, brake, transmission, et.c switches taking some getting used to. Have installed a suspension seat, a lot of work, but worth it. Dealer has suggested lower tire (turf) pressures, but haven't got there yet. haven't put price since I'm Form Motor retire and get special New Holland prices.

Implements : 72" belly mower, 3 pt. scoop, 7 ft. grader blade, 3pt sead spreader, 6ft gang mower
Purchased From : Canfield Newholland
Strengths I had a Ford 1215 which is rated at 18 HP. Traded it in on the TC30. Great power. I have plowed snow over 7 feet high with no problems. Dealer install Gator blades and my yard looks like a golf corse. I highly recommend this to anyone in need of a compact / utility tractor. It will be the last one I will ever have to purchase. I know there are some TC30's that are breaking the engine block due to the right side mounting bolts. I pulled the bolts and lock tighted them. Zero problems.
Weaknesses The grass only needs cut one time a week. I need more to do so I can explain to my wife I have to use the tractor. This way I'm not stuck inside and can play with my tractor.
Overall Great, Dealer was, is, and has been great. I you want to save a little money get a off name tractor, be prepared for several little problem. I chose between a John Deere, Kubota, Cub and Massey, I chose the right one.

Implements : Front End Loader
Purchased From : Nash Equipment Burgaw nc
Strengths Excellent Power for its size. IT suprised me how much work it can do without straining the Tractor. I have put quite a few hours on a 60 HP John deere 4WD. While it will defintly not compete with a Tractor twice its size.It is a great working little tractor and very smooth to operate.
Weaknesses Non Sync Trans. Must be at complete stop to shift gears. I was aware of this when purchsed. Not a big deal unless you are in a big hurry. Highway gear kinda slow compared to Regular size Tractors.
Overall I am very satified so far I have only put 15 hours on it to date. I tow it a lot and it is an easy tow for a 1/2 ton pickup. My tc30 has the 7308 front end loader and liquid filled rear Industrial Tires. I weighed it the other day at the recycle center at 3600lbs Loader plus Tractor.

Implements : 5' Mower, post hole digger, disk harrow, box blade, frontend loader
Purchased From : Dealer
Strengths Reliable, great fuel economy (1 gallon/hour mowing), easy to maintain (mostly). HST is nice and easy to drive. No problem with any implements. 3-point lift capacity has come in handy for pulling old posts out of clay.
Weaknesses Fuel bowl and filter are tricky to get off with the frontend loader on it. Other filters are easy to change and fluid levels are easy to check. Grease points are easy to find.
Overall Great value for the money. Starts every time and doesn't leak. Has done everything we've ask of it from mowing and digging to pushing and hauling. My wife enjoys driving it as much as I do.
