Strengths I have a 2006 TC33DA, I orginally bought a TC30 and traded it on a TC40 but neither where geared right to do landscaping. My TC33DA has a hydrostatic drive, which once you get used to it, you will never go back to a clutch and gears. It will out push and pull the TC40 I am sure. For a small tractor it has a lot of push and can fill the loader full even with hard pack dirt. It seems to have been built to work hard.
Weaknesses Hoses are a constant problem, when running the road from one job site to the next say a mile the foot feed gets tight. Dealer (now out of business, sold me the tractor as having foamed wheels, later I found out it only has water in the wheels. I guess that is OK since in 5 years I have never had a flat.
Overall Very good tractor, a little hard to shift the leavers, but a darn good landscape tractor. Can work in some really tight spaces, turns on a dime. Ten times better that the 40 horse Kubota I had too!

Strengths Great tractor for the money. It lift's with ease, moves with ease, and has more platform room that the competer brands. The slanted design is awsome, and with the slanted loader, what an amazing combination to have. The swivel seat is nice, hover kubota has the market design with their 360 degree swivel seat for the backhoe attatchment. The over all small compact tractor is great for small farmers and landscapers and prolly a little over kill for the average home owner as its easy to find trouble with it.
Weaknesses We have had several problems that have all been resulved by either the dealer with great service, of NewHolland itself. The fenders cracked due to stress points when there assembled in the factory. We have had problems with the rear PTO linkage not engaging. Linkage was bent from the factory. Several small fluid leaks and a major hydrolic leak from the hoses on the tractor. Every thing was resulved and it works great every day.
Overall Great tractor for everyone. It has its limits as with everything, it's not a small dozer. In my landscaping bussiness I love it. Starts right up in winter, ready during the summer heat. Over all it does need some improvements. In the new design, they removed the inside screen before the fan and replaced it with the fine mesh hard screen built into the hood. There's nothing wrong with two screens and I often have to replace several air filters a year due to not having the extra screen.

Strengths I bought this tractor 5 years ago, and has 440 hours on it. It has hydrostat, 4WD, and a 14A loader. I use it to till my garden, to bushhog about 4 acres of pasture, and the FEL is used to carry anything and everything around my small farm. I had never owned or operated a tractor before, but found this tractor to be easy to operate after just a few hours of seat time. I've had few problems with it (see weaknesses below for details on the few problems I have had). Most of the time, it cranks right up and is ready to go.
Weaknesses It does have several weaknesses: 1, the hydraulic system hoses busted several times during the first two years of service, and my New Holland dealer finally had to replace the entire hose system (under warranty, so it didn't cost me anything). Even now, though, it seems like once a year, the two elbow hoses that are a part of that system bust and I have to replace them. I keep an extra set of the elbow hoses and an extra gallon or two of hydralic fluid around the shop because I know before the season is out I will need them. 2, As several others have already said, the machine can lack the power to do some really heavy stuff that one occasionally has to do on a small farm. 3, the rear PTO operating knob is extremely stiff and difficult to engage/disingage. This problem is made worse by the fact that the PTO knob is on the LEFT side of the operator, when about 9 out of 10 people are RIGHT handed.
Overall On a scale of 0 to 10 (with 10 being the highest rating), I'd rate my tractor at about a 7. It would rate alot higher if it wasn't so darn hard to engage/disengage the PTO, and if it had a bit more power.

Strengths Bought new about 5 years ago, and have about 500 trouble free hours on it. Love the hydro transmission. Great power - pulled a big-rig out of a ditch once :). Use a field mower to cut part of our 40 acres, post hole digger, box scraper and rear blade for smoothing 300' driveway.
Weaknesses Being a diesel, I had to add a block heater for cold weather starting. Hood latch no longer works, and the battery design was bad, always corroding, but no trouble with replacement battery. Sometimes lever to engage rear PTO is difficult to move and have to let off clutch and press it again.
Wish there was a place to set a drink.
Overall Whenever I need to use the tractor, I know I can go out and start it up and go. No trouble, no issues. The bucket is a godsend for all sorts of lifting tasks.

Strengths Very nice tractor. Easy on/off from left side. Supersteer 4WD makes most all situations managable. Cruise control is nice on long stretches during mowing. Turns on a dime. Even easy enough to operate that my wife will operate it without fear.
Weaknesses Needs cup holder for sure. As for running out of power, I found that upping the rpm's during pulling or chipping improves performance.
Overall With 230 hours over 2.5 years of use, no complaints yet. I definetely recommend this tractor to everyone. And, if possible, take advantage of CNH low apr financing. It saves a bundle.

Years of Use : 1-2 Years Use
Implements : 72in belly(rear discharge), Woods Backhoe 16in bucket, 15LA loader with quick release
Purchased From : Don's Tractor Alpena MI
Strengths Very versatile tractor many uses, have since bought a backblade, york rake, 48in tiller works great for all these I had a 24hp New Holland Boomer before this one with the 10LA loader 48in belly mower just wouldn't do everything I wanted to do with it. This is the perfect all around tractor for a homeowner or property owner that like to tinker around the property. The hydrostat is the only way to go. I looked at both the quicksteer and the Tractor I have now and found the quicksteer although would be good for mowing would hinder my other uses so decided to make a few more trips around the trees rather than have the problem with the bucket, etc.
Weaknesses Does run out of power in some applications, but its strengths outweigh this one weakness.
Overall Very good tractor for the money I have no complaints with the sloped hood and user friendly controls along with the pivot seat and weight adjustment can't beat it. Only thing I miss is the cup holder but since fabricated one onto the tractor from a motorcycle. Works great!

Implements : loader (included with above price) mower, box blade

Strengths The sloping hood and curved boom loader greatly increases visibility. With supersteer, mowing around trees and making tight turns is amazing easy. I'd recommend 4WD for sure. It makes tilling and snow removal much easier.
Weaknesses If you're lifting or pulling heavy loads, sometimes the tractor runs out of power. It is a great machine, but it has limits. If you have supersteer, using the loader can be a little tricky. It still works fine, but it takes a little more time to learn how to be accurate with the bucket.
Overall Overall its an excellent little tractor. Its really easy to maneuver in tight spaces. The driver platform is very comfortable and the controls are all conveniently located. A good value for the money.
