Strengths The model of this tractor has been changed to a Boomer 2035 (pervious model versions were TC34DA and T2220 – all the same tractor). This is an excellent tractor. So far it is the best Ford/New Holland owned to date (pervious tractors owned – Ford 1710, 1725, and a New Holland TC33D). The tractor has good power for it size and the four wheel drive is very good. FEL w/68 inch and quick attach works great! The cruise control for the HST is a big plus when cutting for a long time. I have no problem going toe to toe against my Uncle’s John Deere 3520 and actually will burn less fuel than the JD doing the same amount of work. Strange thing is that a 3 point hitch and FEL lift capacity specs show they are lower for the JD 3520, yet the TC34DA seems to be able to lift the same amount of weight. Durability is excellent; have not had a problem or leak yet with the tractor. Lives up to the New Holland name!

Weaknesses The only compliant, which to me is very minor, is removing the oil filter. It seems I need to remover the fuel filter in order to get to the oil filter and change it. Again, no big deal; I usually change both of them at the same time anyway.

Overall Overall, very pleased with the tractor. Does everything I expected to have done. I would consider another New Holland in the future.

Strengths Handy, turns easily without using independent brakes. The hydrostat is the way to go for using a front end loader. Easy to service. Controls seem pretty intuitive after you get used to them. My wife calls it Mighty Mouse because it can do so much for the size. The size is one of the handy things too. The ROPS can be folded down to get into a garage. The super steer axle gives an ability to turn around on a penny, forget the dime.

Weaknesses The fuel filter retaining flange is difficult to get threaded. When unhooking the loader (very easy to do when you need to) I have to get a new pin for the center leg of the loader every time because it has so much stress on it. I haven't come up with a solution for this yet. It is very easy to hook up again. I ground the pins so they didn't have shoulders on them and it works great. ROPS sometimes gets in the way when mowing in the tree belt, but Safety comes first. Hydrostat control and brake are on the same side, but this has NEVER been a problem. Even turning around in a lane of snow 5' deep (having dug out a trail, I was able to turn around without using the brakes. Some exposed wiring underneath has been a problem when working with large tumbleweed piles.

Overall I can't imagine doing some of the things I have been doing with a different tractor. I know I haven't scratched the surface for the utility of this machine. Things work great on it and it is comfortable to be on all day.
