Strengths Good strong constant PTO horsepower when using heavy implements such as Balers etc. Smooth transmission, comfortable ride and spacious cab.
Weaknesses More noise in the engine compared to the 110, 125 and 135 due to injection system.
Overall As a mechanic I find them great to work on, service intervals are higher than earlier models and the electronic fuel injection makes the engines in the 110, 125 and 135 a lot quieter. The option of electronic remotes, headland turn sequencing and front axles suspension make it an awesome alternative to buying a larger tractor such as the TM series. The electronic engines can boost up to 30 extra horsepower at PTO to maintain constant speeds with implements.
The mechanical engines are capable of producing more PTO power than rated. The 100A produces 116 horsepower at PTO on a dyno and the 115 produces 125. Definitely a lot of thought put into these machines, and diagnosis can be done by the dealer with a laptop and repairs carried out much quicker.
