Strengths Taught me a lesson to never buy an associated piece of New Holland equipment again & to warn others of my experience.

Weaknesses From the factory-damaged front loader cylinder,switch inserts pop out,front loader hyd.leak,a/c drains not routed properly resulting in condensed water running out of cab vents,bolts holding front loader frame ripped out of castings,cab roof seal not installed properly had to remove roof and replace seal,ash tray came broken,storage insert in front loader missing,wire casing spilt. Tractor had 300hrs on it in 10 months-mechanical shuttle lingage fell apart,linkage from joystick to front loader fell apart,spline holding on rear window fell out letting window fall off,rear remote leaked,leak under right side cab,oil filter leak,molding around left door started coming off,left door wouldn't always latch,back cover on the front right blinker kept popping off,muffler and exhaut pipe fell off while dealer was loading it at the dealship to return it to me from a separate repair.

Overall You know, I bought this new, New Holland tractor and started a small business.This was the worst piece of equipment I ever encountered.Even after having to give up my business due to an undepenadable tractor, the most dissapointing part was dealing with the New Holland corporate reps.They were very rude and some ignorant,to say the least.I have sent a certified letter to one of the presidents and had absolutley no response.They have their money therefore the hell with little man(consumer).There is more to this story but short of the long of it is,do not buy New Holland unless your looking for a great disappointment. Oh ya, I financed this through New Holland (CNH) and provided my own insurance, they still haven't reimbursed me for the insurance they charged me for.As for the dealership where I bought this piece of crap,I will tell you what I expressed to New Holland in a certified letter-"Union Farm Equipment has always been prompt on the service whether it be to pick up/deliver the tractor and/or send a mechanic on sight.New Holland should be so lucky to have a dealer of this magnitude represent their product." Well done New Holland! Keep up the good work.

Strengths Nice cab. Hte air conditioning and heater make for a comfortable ride. Lot of glass to see well. Hydraulic brakes have good stopimg power with little foot presure.

Weaknesses This unit has leaked transmisssion oil from the bellhousing breather hole since new. The dealer has it now for the second time to repair. We will see.... The A speed range is still too high for a creeper gear. Can not use this tractor with a tiller. Need a 540 "E" on the PTO. Must run engine at "screem" speed to run light mowing unit---NOISEY!!!

Overall Nice looking tractor with comfortable cab and good power that needs lots of impoovments....

Strengths lots of power very gutty really a nice tractor

Weaknesses tractor is too light needs weights or do what i did fill tires with window washer fluid added 1350 lbs and improved traction cost less than $300 cheaper than wheel weights

Overall Great machine

Strengths The power shuttle transmission so far is a breaze. Still getting used to not using the clutch. Moves round bales with ease. Lot's of power when hooked up to a 12' triple k. All the controls are fairly easy to get at. No problem when I loaded a tri-axle dump truck with sand, lot's of height and reach into the box.So far so good.

Weaknesses I find the 3 cylinder turbo diesel a little noisy. Should maybe have went up in hp. to get the 4 cylinder. The extra fuel tank should be relocated so as to give a better view to the drawbar. Even wiht rear tires loaded still needs weight to the rear especially when loading dirt or other material that is heavy. Should have made a bigger cup holder to samll. Should have an extra set od renotes as standard equip. and not as an option.

Overall Easy to operate, excellent visibility when using loader, turns tight for a mfwd, lot's of platform space,lot's of power and gear selection(16X16)

Strengths Excellent shifting - 12x12 synchro with mech shuttle. Excellent loader with good balance (32LC). Power is on hand and usable. Loader controls are great.

Weaknesses Loader hoses suceptible to damage if care is not taken. I will make shields for them because of this.

Overall With only 3 hours of seat time...I am ecstatic. I have moved 15 tons of gravel in no time. I have the 4WD and it powers through with great traction on due to the radial tires. The platform is well designed (I have the ROPS version).
