Strengths I have owned the Polaris for a year now. I am totally satisfied with the machine. It is powerfull, can seat 3 adults, very monuverable, outstanding product, fast. The independent suspension is a must. Great for towing. Easy to maintain.

Weaknesses Because it is a 500 and a single cylinder machine it is a little noisy and not as smooth as the 700. If that is your need step up to the 700.

Overall Outstanding product. Highly recommended

Strengths Rides very well over rough pastures, creek bottoms, etc. Seems to have plenty of power and pull heavy trailers well.

Weaknesses Noisy drive train and very noticable whine when going over 10mph or slowing. Not what I expected in a fairly expensive product. The quality of the assembly leaves something to be desired. Black grill had screws missing and the fan motor went out in the first hour causing the motor to overheat. It was fixed under warranty.

Overall Overall it is a good product but do something about the noisy drive train and pay closer attention when you assemble the product.

Strengths this unit has plenty of power is very smooth ridding and good on gas.

Weaknesses my only complaint is the drive train is very noisy especially after 10 hours, not what you would expect after spending this kind of money.

Overall If the fix the drive train noise problem this would be the perfect machine.

Strengths Smooth ride, power,good size bed.

Weaknesses This is the 500 EFI sometimes hard starting. Dealer service is very high. Should have gone 700 no cockpit fuel guage tach or speedo

Overall I raise Cattle and is used for farm work so far very happy with performance towes great. After market parts are very high. I had Sportsman 700 prior to this had lots of power wasn't real handy.

Strengths this beast has plenty of power and top end speed. It will shred all types of hills and run over trees when they are in the way.There is no shortage of torque so hills do not slow this machine down.

Weaknesses the engine is a bit loud and the emergency brake is a bit loose

Overall do not pass this one up if you are into performance, the only one close is the yamaha rhino but i prefer the bench seat
