Strengths Never had a chance to find one. I paid only $450 and got all my money back.

Weaknesses Wouldn't start. Finally started then augers would not turn. Then leaked oil. Poor support from local independently owned store. Fair support from larger Sears store.

Overall Would never buy one again (even at the 1/2 price spring sale).

Weaknesses Joy stick. Asked dealer if they could replace with crank control and was told no. They put another joy stick on it and it was just as bad. this is dangerous and everyone that bought a snowblower Troy built 8526 storm should have their machine recalled and have a crank chute installed a dealer cost

Overall Not only problems with the joystick. I was walking it back to the barn after blowing snow during a storm and all of a sudden Bang and the wheels would not turn. found a gear busted in half, and a key laying in the bottom of the blower. After reviewing the damage noticed the shaft that controls the wheels was busted where the key and gear was. needed new key gear and shaft. why this happened I have no clue. keys are suppose to break before shafts break. lost a season of work due to this break down

Strengths Snow Blower has not injured anyone to date... Lights still work.

Weaknesses This attached unit has approximately 41.5 actual hours of use over 3 years.Just about every movable and/or detachable part has become rusted, broke, or worked itself loose. Annual Maintenance doesn't decrease the unpredictable annual breakdowns.

Overall Very Bad product engineering and very cheaply made. Attaching/Detaching the unit to the tractor is dangerous, extremely difficult and definitely a 2 man job. Parts must always be ordered and shipped, which creates snow removel problems. Cannot recommend purchasing this tractor implement.

Weaknesses Cheap, Rest of it falls appart easy Snowblower goes on hard takes 2 people You cannot get parts locally you have to pay for shipping and order all parts online. I was for to buy parts and the shipping was more than the parts

Overall OK for mowing and that is it. As far as for any other use don't do it, its the pits.
