Strengths Mows a 60" swath on a 40 degree hill sideways. Unlimited attachments. Changing attachments is a breeze. I have a bad back, and changing the 3 point stuff on my old Kubota was a killer. I have acquired a bucket, mower deck, sweeper, turbine blower, stump cutter. All are awesome. Had 3 different attachments on today. Just cut about 30 six inch or so stumps today and mowed about 3 acres and got done in time to take my wife to the 3:00 matinee.

Weaknesses Expensive. Parts are too.

Overall I have become a Steiner cult fan. Steiner tractor owners hang around the store sharing photos and stories about their tractors, like a granddad bragging about his grandkids.

Strengths This tractor is like a tractor pull tractor. It was very heavy, made from thick steel. Not much else to say was't impressed by the looks either.

Weaknesses First, I would not let a child 16 years old or younger get on this machine. I was warned 3 times by the dealer "do not install the belt for the mower when the tractor is on." It is a very dangerous machine and it takes both hands to drive this thing...no foot pedals. You had the gas pedal(forward and reverse) in your right hand and had to steer with your left. You also had to watch your knees when steering, you would bang them on the front center part of the tractor since the front wheels do not steer at all, it pulls the front backwards to steer left or pushes the front forward to turn right.The steering is hydraulic and so noisey and cumbersome. While steering you cannot pickup anything with the bucket or lift the front deck up at the same time, they share the same hydraulic pump that needs upgraded. When the unit got hot, it had trouble picking up the deck. It had a big engine 25hp kubota and would bog down while mowing at full throttle, so i had to stop back up and go over the grass again. No front wheel fenders, would splat mud all over my shoes and pants and tractor. It had 49 hrs on the rental and leaked oil on the garage floor.

Overall can't say on reliability since weekend rental. would rather mow with a home depot $999.99 tractor than pay the money for this thing. I was totally exhausted mowing and turning mowing and turning...was glad to get off this thing, both arms were so tired.

Strengths Very nimble for a workhorse of this stature. The attachments and the time it takes to change is a REAL bonus for this tractor. I have no doubt that this is a tractor that can do just about anything

Weaknesses if in a dusty environment the clipping can easily block the radiator from the much needed air flow. Its nothing to clean off and allows a break in the usage however it can get hot quick

Overall the Steiner or a Ventrac are a tractor of choice IMO.

Strengths has a wide range of applications,many available attachments for just about any job imagineable, very versitile, requires low maintanence, lots of power for a small tractor! I've dragged large wet logs 25 foot long with this and its the size of a garden tractor!

Weaknesses runs loud and implements are expensive

Overall great tractor, worth the price if you have an assortment of jobs for it

Strengths The Steiner is like no other tractor I have ever driven. I have not ever run anything with more power for the size. Its built like a tank, seems very reliable, and has more implements available than I will ever be able to find use for.

Weaknesses Price, its expensive. Compare it to an equal HP sub compact and its a good bit more money.

Overall You get what you pay for, for my money there is nothing better
