Strengths LOL. None, The first time I used it, I had cut about a 1/4 acer and the deck fell off. Cutting an open area, no trees, no post, the deck just fell off. I call Lowes, what a joke. The tech said I was lying that the deck cannot just fall off, well it did. Carb float got stuck wide open and filled the crank case will GAS!!

Weaknesses Weakness, everything about the machine, SAve your $$$ and buy a Deere. New Blades every few weeks. If you gut a 1/4 acre of FLAT land every other day then this is the machine for you other than that it is the worst thing I have ever seen or used. Bad belts, bad deck. The tires go flat too. Buy some green slim for the tiers

Weaknesses the lower drive belt.i had to do a mod a small screw with a long washer on it that didnt work at all it cut the drive belt every time.a longer screw and washer fix the problem.this should be a recall.fix that screw or new belt evry season troy built is mtd now watch out dont buy.

Overall This lawnmower is the WORST we have ever had. Has spent more time being worked on than cutting grass. Cannot get any help from Lowe's. Belts jumped off 4 times before they finally came to pick it up. Only used the mower twice before going in to be repaired.

Strengths No repairs after six years mowing 30,000 square feet plus hauling equipment and small grader. Kill switch circuit is simple to bypass.

Weaknesses Seat has worn out and needs replacing. Not enough leg room.

Overall My forth tractor and it's been the best one, the least repairs.

Strengths HARD TO THINK OF ONE. CONSUMERS REPORT LED ME TO BUY THIS MACHINE AND IT HAS BEEN A DISASTER

Weaknesses FROM NOT STARTING, TO PROBLEMS WITH BELTS AND CUTTING BLADES AND UNCOMFORTABLE SEATS THIS UNIT IS POOR QUALITY. THE CUT QUALITY IS SUBSTANDARD AND POWER OF THE ENGINE SEEMS OVERRATED TO PERFORMANCE.

Overall THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE WORST PURCHASE RECOMENDED BY CONSUMERS REPORT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. THE PRICE WAS MUCH LOWER THAN A JOHN DEERE BUT NOT A DEAL IN THE LONG RUN. GARBAGE

Strengths Excellent power by a 20 HP Kohler engine, cruise control, automatic transmission, very reliable and trouble-free.

Weaknesses Doesn't cut in reverse.

Overall Superior lawn tractor!!!!!!! I love it!!!! I haven't had any problems that others complain about the older models.

Weaknesses worst experience with a tractor i have ever had, in the 3 years i have had it i have replaced belts 6times, tires twice and they still go flat. the deck is not even and breaks every time i have used it, and for the past month is wouldnt start without bypassing the ignition {battery dierctly to starter to start :(} i will never spend anoth =cent on any briggs engine again, absoulute garbage!!

Strengths I have the super bronco with the 19 HP koler engine and its been a amazing three years. i bought it my freshman year in high school and have cut 16-20 yards a season. im coming up on 200 running hours and havent had a single proble. the fact that i couldnt mow in reverse got on my nerves but i eventually found the safty wire plugged into the transmission and "accidentally unpluged it" but other then that its been fine. i use to drive it about five miles to get to a few jobs and the fuel tank held enough fuel for me to get there and back with no probs!!!!! i would recomend this model to anyone. i also have a troy-bilt weed wacker and am about to buy a push mower.... i cant wait!!

Overall This is a very good product and i am very pleased that being a high school student the price was reasonable enough to purtchase it on my own

Weaknesses No Clutch/Brake - 2010 model has one, Adjustable seat unsecure for operation

Overall Great buy if you ask me. Worked it hard all last year and never let me down. 2010 model looks to have improved with the clutch/brake, more hp and larger rear tires. Sorry everyone else having issues, hope mine keeps going.

Strengths I have to say that this unit lasted for 5 years. I kept the3 oil changes 2x each season, filters as well. The tractor was a decent product and I really had few issues with it for the first 3 years. Belts lasted 4 years.

Weaknesses Blades constantly had to be sharpened, uneven cutting - even after adjustments "by the book," and engine performance was substandard after 3 years - even with regular maintenance and tuneup. Tires were constantly flat from year 1 and had to refill them every time I used the unit. Refused to pay $60 for a tire. Changed belts after year 4 and then blew the head gasket. Not worth the rebuild time. Briggs & Stratton 17.5 Hp engine should have performed much better. Dissapointed.

Overall Decent product, but the price does not reflect equally with its performance and lack of longevity. It should be a minimum of $300 less. I certainly expected more from a Briggs & Stratton. I will not buy another. I will look for a unit with a Honda engine - better performance with a lower RPM. Unfortunate an American company builds a less than strong product.
