Strengths Came with a rear cart. Cuts nice. Easy to drive and maneuver. Starts easily.

Weaknesses Loud, need ear protection. Drive belt slipped twice last mowing season (March - November) Bent one blade on the last cut of the season. Replaced the blades this season without removing the deck.

Overall Not bad for the price. Lowes could do a better job stocking parts. I need to find an oil filter.

Weaknesses I mowed my lawn five times on this discounted returned to store mower, and it didnt alow me to finish mowing 2 out of the three times. The deck is very flimsy and the side guard broke off during the second mowing. The belt that operates the automatic transmission continued to fall off if the pedal was pushed beyond the half way point. The service Tech. was called out and replaced the pully which lasted for one cut then started throwing the belt again. The blades needed to be replaced by the third cutting due to one being bent. This is the worst mower I ever operated and would recommend a cheap Murray before ever letting anyone experience owning this mower.

Overall Piece of JUNK..... Dont buy this mower even at half the price.. Your lawn will be out of control while its being repaired!!!!

Strengths Lots of features for the price.

Weaknesses Deck is very flimsy.. side guard broke off deck in less than a year. BENDS BLADES like CRAZY.... hit a large clump of grass... bent blade... hit a 1/2" tree limb that fell down... bent blade.... hit a dog chew toy... bent blade!!! I've literally gone through 4 sets of blades in 8 months. At $30 for a set of blades, that's $15 a month in blades alone.

Overall Not worth the flimsy steel it's made of. Spend your money elswhere.

Weaknesses The so called "automatic transmission" is nothing more than a belt connected to a tension pulley controlled by your foot (accelerator). Transmission makes excessive noise with only about a year of use. Poor ergonomics. Maintanance is also difficult; the entire side engine compartment cover needs removed to change oil. B&S motor also has its flaws. I guess you need a totally level lawn to operate this thing. Any slope at all sends oil into the combustion chamber followed by huge amounts of smoke. B&S service center worthless as well who told me that you can't operate this on slopes?? You certainly get bottom of the line with this one... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Overall Poor designed all together. If you want a cheap, bottom of the line mower, go to K-Mart and save a few hundred dollars.
