Strengths Very powerful and is easy to use. I love this machine! Its a little heavy to manuver,but thats to be expected of a large machine like this. wished it had a joystick,but now i have read that the joystick is no good,so i have to do a lot of cranking which can be very tiring. I broke a shear bolt on frozen snow,no big deal as they are easy to replace,make sure you have spares in case this happens to you.

Weaknesses It came with a Electric starter that stopped working after 3 years of use,new one cost about $130.00(too much)but needed it because i have a bad shoulder and cant pull the starter rope.

Overall I would buy another Troy Built blower if this one lasts me along time. I think MTD builds most of the blowers on the market,so their pretty much all the same.

Strengths This is regarding Troy-Bilt Storm 2620. I bought it new from Lowe's in 2008 - Waterloom, Iowa. Ran well during that winter season. I stored the machine according to the recommended procedure per manufacturer (run the fuel completely, drain oil, use fuel stabilizer, etc). Tried to run it for this winter season, and was totally dead. Unreliable machine. Wish I did not purchase this machine

Weaknesses Unreliable machine compared to other snow blowers that my neighbors and friends use. You may pay a little more but really worth it especially when you factor in repairs, and warranty is a joke. They will nail you for no matter what to get cost out of your pocket.

Overall Very disappointed with this equipment. Watch out there when purchasing for snow blowers

Strengths Powerful, adjustable speeds, excellant throwing abilities, self propelled, electric start, wife and daughter have actually used it with ease

Weaknesses must use hand crank to change throwing direction

Overall great value, very glad I bought it
