Strengths Not a one!! This mower has yet to complete an entire yard without breaking down. From the belts to the safety mechanisms, nothing works properly.

Weaknesses Everything related to this machine. The super bronco has one of the worst designs I've ever seen from a lawn mower.

Overall I highly suggest anyone not to buy from Lowes or a Troy Built machine for that matter. Service is half ass from both sides of this equation!! Trust me.

Strengths comfortable. easy for my wife to drive. Decent gas efficiency.

Weaknesses I hate the "gas pedal". Cruise cntrl is a pain (too fast or too slow), and legs cramp up mowing from pushing pedal. Drive belt has now come off. Has a hard time starting with name brand new batteries. Deck is junk and cannot be raised high enough for non-mow time. I've gone back to my 20 year old John Deere instead - its never broken.

Overall When its repaired, the only reason I will use it over my old JD is the modern comfort for my back.

Strengths 19 HP Kohler Engine only positive

Weaknesses Deck belt issues. Pulley Misalignment. Very poorly designed cutting deck. I ran over an ant hill that was assumed to have thrown the idler pulley on the first tracter out of alignment. The idler pulley, which attaches to the brake assembly bracket should be reinforced with spring. A $1300.00 dollar 19 hr/42" cut tractor should be able to handle running over an ant hill without throwing deck out of alignment. No kidding.

Overall I'm on my 2nd Super Bronco in 5 months. The only positive has been dealing with Lowe's who has been very helpful. On both tractors issues with the drive belt has come up. Belt kept coming off pulleys. Misalignment issue. Had to replace belt on 2nd tractor after 4 cuts. NOTE: If you have warranty issues with ANY Troy bilt product and feel it is NOT handled properly through Troy Bilt then contact the Better Business Bureau. The BBB is there to protect consumers. I've read of unethical business practices about Troy Bilt not covering ligitimate warranty issues with Super Bronco & Bronco tractors. Don't let them blame you for a faulty product.

Strengths Good running machine, no problems in over two years.

Weaknesses Deck is a little difficult to remove and replace. I modified the safety reverse switch as it was very annoying. I find it hard to locate implements or anyone to help determine what compatablity there is between other brands.

Overall I like the mowe and would probably buy another one. I would like to have more options on implements.

Strengths Has 19 hp Kohler engine.. Plenty of Power Cuts and runs extremely well.

Weaknesses Jack Pulley bearings locked up after just 6 weeks of use. Jack Pulley will have to be replaced. Definitely do not like reverse safety feature which cuts off with mower deck engaged.

Overall Was under the impression that Troy Bilt was a tough machine. Found out different through normal use.

Strengths easy to operate

Weaknesses I've only had the mower for six months and the transmission leaks. Troy Bilt refuses to fix even though under warranty. They say that their transmissions won't fail unless the tractor is abused. Now there's a useless warranty.

Overall Won't ever buy another Troy Bilt product.

Strengths Engine size, I purchased the 21 hp model and the engine has not had a problem towing up to 1000lbs in the trailer.

Weaknesses Mower deck comes out of height alignment too easily. Un-even cutting on terrain that is not fully flat. I believe I might have worn the pully drive system out. The lower pulley that drives the mower deck blades snap off on me. I am having a terrible time finding replacement parts or A MANAUAL!!! This mower did not come with a manual.

Overall Good mower. I have used it religiously putting 170 hours on it in 3 years.

Strengths Purchased new 2006 model from Lowes with the 19hp Kohler engine provide enough power. Smooth cut to yard Bagger easy to attach without tools and handles plastic trash bags for easy bagging of grass clippings. CVT transmission makes mower easy to drive just put in forward and press pedal.

Weaknesses Don't like safety feature that shuts off mower blades when placing tractor in reverse. Does not have hour meter. Would rather have that in place of amp meter. Seat is mid back insteat of high back would like high back seat. No way to switch off headlights when mower running.

Overall Very good price for mower and attachments. Looked at John Deer, Craftsman, and others Very pleased so far.

Strengths 21Hp Briggs and Stratton provides plenty of power! Able to mow on slopes with ease. Good turning radius and easy to turn steering. Pulls an additional 200 pounds in tow cart with no problem.

Weaknesses Not many after market attachments compared to other lawn tractors. Not easy to step on or off of. Have to repeatedly press on brake pedal to get started.

Overall For the price and acreage this is a good machine.

Strengths 21Hp Briggs and Stratton pulls this mower up hill with NO problem! Great engine breaking that allows for a smooth downhill ride. Excellent turning. Very clean, smooth cut.

Weaknesses Im not used to the reverse safety feature and always forget to engage it in "caution mode" which allows for reverse with blades running. If not engaged mower will quickly shut off. This takes time to get used to!!

Overall Mower cuts, rides, and handles great. Once again the mower climbs my hills excellent. So far I couldnt ask for a better mower.
