Strengths Big and pretty wide tilling width.
Easy starting.
Weaknesses Tires lose pressure easily.
Tires do not help traction much.
Tines do not dig well unless you are tilling VERY smooth soft ground. Otherwise tine break easily. Can't do much unless you have soil consiting of something like commercial bagged potting soil.
Eats belts like nothin' I ever seen. The stock belts lasted 1.5 seasons maybe 30 - 40 hours of use. From that point on I have to change a $15 belt about every 1.5 hours. Adjusting belt tension even as much as just short of "always on" doesn't help. They change their part numbers and I assume the belts are now their income stream since the old part# lasted so long and the new part3 doesn't last at all.
Overall Poor design. Pay $700 for a quick belt shredder. Change the belt yourself for $15-$20 each or take it to an authorized servicer for a belt change and pay close to $100. either way in an hour or two you'll have a few strips of hot rubber and a bunch of nylon fuzz to pull out of your tiller. Hard to handle. Lack of appreciable weight means any pebble in your garden makes this thing do cartwheels.
