Strengths Easily fits everywhere; spare parts available and not too expensive; used in our small equestrian center (17 ac) for farm work with front bucket and rear mower. A great all around tractor for its size. Very reliable, keeps on going and doing what you ask of it. 4 wheel drive work well when needed. Many ways to use it with different speed for traction and drive shaft in the back.

Weaknesses Due to its age (1979), had to replace the water cooling pump, radiator, hoses and belt, front tires. These parts are readily available and easy to replace. These failed due to neglect from the previous owner who also probably had the tractor unused for a long time. Alternator not working but installed a battery charger on the tractor to charge it once or twice a week by plugging it in.

Overall Wild definitely recommend the YM 1401D to anyone.

Strengths Been having this one for almost 3 years, a real workhorse. Does everything you ask well. No problems, just turn the key and do your work. Very reliable. Have about 149 hours on it. 4 wheel drive is a must in this sandy soil, have burried it to the axle and it always gets itself out. Burns almost no fuel.

Weaknesses Narrow tread no good for hilly terrain, but can get into plaaces other tractors can't.

Overall I would buy another in a heartbeat. Still worth what I paid for it.
